Over the years, we’ve had clients come and go (many of whom return), and we have clients that loyally stay with us.
As a general rule, we believe that the key to keeping a client is providing a product and service that meets or exceeds the client’s needs at a price that represents “value” to the client.
We’re puzzled when we lose a client, since we strive to provide the best service and lists possible, and believe we do so quite well.
We know that sometimes, we simply get beaten by a lower price from another vendor, although there usually is no way for us to find out if that’s the case. Sometimes, we know what happened, but can’t undo it. We can only learn from this type of mistake and improve moving forward.
All this raises the question of “what is important to YOU when sourcing (and keeping!) a mailing list provider?”.
Is it all about price? Accuracy of data? Service? “Chemistry” with your sales person? Or, are there other factors we may not be considering?
